ZERO TO HERO (Part2)

The Hero In You - Your Right To Fulfillment.
The great writer, T.D. Jakes said in one of his book: “The unexamined life falls short of who we could be and what God has empowered us to do, and makes it a tragedy, a life wasted.” This shows how vital self-discovery could be to human development in life. However, most have battled with the intricacy of who they really are for long even right from their youth. But, along the way, they gave up the battle to peer pressure not for the sake of anything but out of their desperation to locate the place, group or person who will reveal or tell them who they are and what their ability can undertake.

Truly, knowing and exploring who we are could be complex but the unavoidable fact is that it starts with and within us. This is the more reason you must awake now, not minding your age and status arouse your senses and touch your individuality to recognize what you are capable of accomplishing. Do not limit yourself by conceiving inside you that you are too young or by being self-sufficient that you are too old to birth the hero within you. It is never too early or too late to touch one’s destiny and hold on to it to start the reign. You may wish to know; Mattie Stepanek between the age of 11 and 13 wrote five award-winning chat that top the best-selling poetry books, Farrar Gray became millionaire at age 14, Grandma Moses started painting at 78 and gained international recognition at 80 while Colonel Sanders overcame poverty to become millionaire at 66. Now you know, yours will not be the first but it will definitely add you to the list of exceptional heroes in the history book.

Who told you; you can not be the best singer, the best actor, the best teacher, the best poet or the like, the world is waiting for or the first to make that invention? But because of some hurdles, which I referred to as “inevitable hurdles” in Part1, you have abased yourself to the position of mediocrity, thereby compromising your individuality and totally giving up on your dreams and visions; the inspiration for birthing the hero inside you. However, I will quickly like to make this clear to you. The best is not just got because you are the best but because you recognize what you worth and you think you can, so not minding the hurdles to cross you go after it; thus you get it. At the turn, people recognize you as the best and you are addressed as such.

Therefore, the time has come for you to reclaim your lost individuality. So relax yourself and be expectant as we move on in today’s http://da-revelation.blogspot.com expedition to reveal who you were really meant to be; embrace it, explore it because by it you have the right to unleash the hero within you and take up your reign.

Welcome powerfully on board! Your being on board again today for the Part 2 of the expedition – ZERO TO HERO (Part1), tells me vividly how you crave strongly for fulfillment in life. What is fulfillment? Fulfillment is the level or stage you reach in life that your soul attains satisfaction. Mind you, being rich does not always imply being fulfilled. I have seen rich people, who have good home and lucrative business but cry inside voicelessly because they are on the wrong pursuits - not fulfilled.

The heroes like Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt, King Sunny Ade and Bill Gates who fulfilled their dreams connected firmly to their gifts and talents to motivate and raise the hero in them to stardom thereby winning for themselves the recognition and the celebration, which attracted to them the pay, they get for doing what they love. This simply implies that when one finds that “Thing” he would do for the joy and the fulfillment of doing it, such has found his mission and he is on the path to fulfillment in life. How then do we discover this? This is the sixty-four thousand dollar question. To answer it we must first firmly intimate ourselves with who we are and know what we are capable of doing. Although, many are those who will to attain stardom in life but what their upbringing and their environment reveal to them as regards their identity has shortchanged them. This is the more reason you must give it all it demands to discover, explore and celebrate your individuality if in any case you must birth and raise the hero in you to stardom. For clarity sake if you are yet to find something intriguing to your soul even when you fail, in that your venture; then it won’t be what you were meant for.

To discover that “Thing” – your mission, let us return to the Self-Analysis Exercise you completed in Part 1. What strengths stand out? What weaknesses stand so debilitating and what have you learnt from them (How they limit you)? What is it that you derive fun in doing that you do freely? To make this task more resourceful, ask yourself which set of people in your utopia did you ever want to roll with? In addition, how do you want to be remembered while you have passed on? Your answers to these questions will clearly paint for you the area your gifts and talents fit, where you suppose to be operating now.

So, why not taking right steps to develop and maximize yourself in the right area you were meant to function. Take appropriate risks today and stop playing it safe. Retrieve your being from the fear of what others will think or say; however, it is your own life. Pursue your mission, confront the inevitable, dare the impossibilities and attain that which seems unattainable. Then you salvage your life from the cobwebs of wasted existence and become the hero you were meant to be.

Nonetheless, knowing and pursuing your mission do not mean life will now become a bed of roses, there are barriers to break, hurdles to cross, obstacles to overcome before you get there – your destination. Where you are set for is nothing like where you were coming from or where you are now. However, never succumb to the lacerations and bruises obtain in your struggles to overcome these barriers and hurdles to take to drug, drinking, sex or other dream killer as a means of anesthetizing the pains. These will never get one over these hurdles; they just worsen the situation and deter one. Nevertheless, you might need to change; lifestyles, priorities, jobs, locations, and surround yourself with objects that will keep reminding you where your destination lies.

Invincibly develop the needed; passion, capacity, confidence and perseverance that will sustain you beyond prejudices, fear, limitations, daily endeavors and motivate your motion in the journey toward the destination. You must not surrender to any issue that may arise to deter you, but rather, make every experience educational as you move from one phase to another in the journey. Appraise your weaknesses and learn to manage them so they will not overshadow your strengths and create distractions for you.

Hey! Lest I forget, one cheapest way we lose focus and give up our real mission - our right to fulfillment is by trying to live in another man’s footsteps. Better said, trying to become who other people want us to be. However, it is of the essence to learn from other people and receive mentoring from experienced folks.

Friend, without further ado turn to the “Man” inside you – “Mr. I” awake and provoke him to action to explore your individuality and savor a mission after your dreams. Be the best of who you are, then the hero in you emerges on the stardom stage of life and you win yourself a palace in the fulfillment countryside. Thus, history will ever live to remember the landmark you have made.

Thanks for your time and above all let meet at the top!

You’re a hero!
